Hadn't been to Applebee's in years. Nothing against them but I much preferred Archer's...but my friend Travis told us about this $15 all you can eat deal which they brought out of small plates of either boneless wings, riblets or shrimp & fries. First time went with him and friends and it was good service and atmosphere. Second time I was reminded of why I don't like most corporate restaurant bar places. Meh service, sitting too close to other customers who are loud, obnoxious & kick my seat and not a good atmosphere. The food...was okay, was a bit impressed by the wings and the flavors of the wings and shoulda just tried my flavors but I mixed it up with the shrimp (good, but plain) and riblets (saucy, but never what you really want: actual ribs).
It was okay, but was expecting more out of this "lava cake"...more like a dry tiny bunt cake with hot squeeze-bottle fudge in the middle...and freezer-burned ice cream, yum.
