People know I love Archers Tavern, my favorite place to eat and this is my main meal there:
RIBS
Been coming here for years and the ribs have had some tweaks here'n'there over the years. They used to be served every day and they used to have different sauces they could be cooked with but currently they're only a weekend special and only have the regular BBQ sauce which is good. What hasn't changed though is how fall off the bone tender they are. A story goes along with this: my situation with my teeth was dire years back before I had enough money to get a better dentist and all that...I was so afraid of not being able to eat certain foods due to tooth pains and dental problems. The first time I had Archers ribs was...wow, so tasty yet soft I was able to enjoy it without much tooth pain and that was just wonderful.
CAMPFIRE CHILI
Nothing beats my Mom's chili, but this is a good chili. Hearty and flavorful with the Fritos, cheese & sour cream on top it's very good.
SALAD
A good judgement of a restaurant is if they can even get their salad right...Archers does! I ask for no tomatoes and blue cheese dressing, it's very fresh and crisp. I learned a hack, though...I asked for double blue cheese once and they brought it out with wet blue cheese dressing and dry blue cheese crumbles...oh MAN!
DESERT PEAR COKE
The bartenders at Archers are so nice and very good at their job. They mix drinks, not just alcoholic ones, but also lemonades and sodas. Monin makes a bunch of different flavors for these drinks and they make my Cokes with desert pear in it and it's so good.
