We hadn't had a Sega Master System in a while so once we did I tested an old pair of 3-D Glasses we had for it and it uses shudder tech (left & right lenses alternate off and on in the glasses) to give an optical illusion of see 2 images on screen for a 3S effect. Well, the shuttering was too faint and slow so it wasn't effective so I, DrGAKMAN, had to fix it!
Got a capkit for it to repace the caps...problem being the cap that was obviously bad leaked and damaged the pads to connect a new cap under the pcb (you can see the damage on the upper left of the board) so I soldered the new cap...
...to the top of the pcb to get a good connection. Put it back together and we tested it with Space Harrier 3-D and it works much better. It's a primitive form of 3D, but was probably mind-blowing compared to 2-tone cardboard 3D glasses of the time. Here's Stephen testing with the Sega Master System 3-D Glasses on...
